As an Accountant at Culligan, you will play a central role in our Nordic finance organization. You will be responsible for ongoing accounting and financial reporting for one of our companies in the Nordics and ensure that the figures maintain high quality - every day, every month, every closing!

This is a role for you who thrive in the borderland between structure and change. You work with recurring, methodical processes such as monthly closings, reporting, and reconciliations, while also contributing to the development of routines, working methods, and systems as Culligan grows through both acquisitions and organic growth. Here, you will be an important player in an international company with a high pace and big ambitions, with the Finance department as the hub in the business.

• Be responsible for ongoing accounting and monthly reporting for one of our Nordic companies according to local GAAP and US GAAP

• Conduct reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and ensure high quality in the closing

• Handle VAT, taxes, and other legal reporting requirements in the relevant country

• Prepare and contribute to internal and external reporting (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually)

• Provide internal support in financial matters towards other functions in the organization

• Work on improving processes, routines, and internal controls together with the Accounting Manager

• Participate in the development of working methods related to systems, reporting, and group structure

• Have overall responsibility for establishing and ensuring the quality of the company's annual report, as well as liaising with auditors and international stakeholders as needed

• A few years of experience in ongoing accounting - you feel confident with taking responsibility for the role

• Post-secondary education in finance, or equivalent competence gained through relevant work experience

• It is highly meritorious if you have worked with accounting in a Nordic country outside Sweden

• You thrive in international environments and have experience with multiple accounting frameworks

• You are comfortable in Excel and used to working in business systems

• Communication in English is no problem for you, both verbally and in writing

• Experience with US GAAP or IFRS is meritorious, but not a requirement

You will be part of our Nordic accounting team, which currently consists of several accountants responsible for the work in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland. You report to the Accounting Manager and work closely with the Finance Manager, CFO, auditors, and international stakeholders. You will have a manager with a clear focus on structure, quality, and development – but also on security, collaboration, and an unpretentious climate.
